In this role, you will :
Responsibility 1: Lead and manage all paid digital advertising for fundraising
- Manage all media buys and strategies to deliver the budget for one-time and monthly donations, as well as non-financial objectives such as lead generation.
- Grow revenue and drive traffic to Canadian Red Cross web properties through evergreen, campaign-specific tactics and emergency appeals.
- Develop strategies to optimize campaigns across Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and others. Manage key vendor relationships and provide strategic direction and oversight.
- Manage all in-house paid campaign activities including campaign planning, implementation and optimization.
Responsibility 2 : Automation, Innovation and Lead Generation
- Leverage HubSpot ads tool to build automated workflows for ads in collaboration with the Marketing Automation Specialist and ensure email, SMS and ads are working effectively together to drive results.
- Collaborate with the Monthly Giving team on Lead Generation Campaigns leveraging multiple channels to grow our online monthly donor base.
- Champion innovation for donor acquisition, bringing forward innovations for digital marketing for consideration and be the conduit for the team to bring innovations forward.
- Produce the Business Case to get buy-in on innovations in consultation with the digital team.
Responsibility 3 : Leadership, Analytics and Reporting
- Attend in-person leadership meetings bi-annually, develop presentations and businesses cases as needed and support the Director-Digital Marketing with innovation and growth opportunities.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from digital marketing campaigns and websites.
- Use tools such as GA4, HubSpot and Fundraise Up to measure and report on KPIs.
- Collaborate with marketing and other teams to optimize digital campaigns and improve website user experience based on analytics.
What we are looking for :
- A university degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 6 years + of experience in paid digital advertising, analytics, CRO and SEO.
- 5-7 years proven hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, Social Platforms, SEO, GA4 and internet lead generation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience developing and managing paid search campaigns and budgets in collaborating with agencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create executive reports and communicate the trends and analytics.
- Strong background in managing large media budgets and ad campaigns including social and display ads across various platforms, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
- Experience reviewing and maintaining code deployments via a tag management solution such as Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with fundraising tools, marketing automation and HubSpot considered a strong asset.
